A SUMMARY ABOUT COMPANY FACTORIES
  The general company for vegetable oils industry was formed at its present
   form on 6 / 5 / 1970  after  merging the following companies  during year
  1968 - 1970

• Al-rasheed   factory:
     is  a   complimentary  for the company   of  vegetabel oils   extraction which   established in 1940  and produce  vegetable  ghee  ( Zubaidah  - Zenab)  of  1 kg- and   Al-Jamal  soap 100  gm and  AL-Rafidain  company  for   detergent  industry   wich   established    in 1967    to  produce powder detergent ( tide). Tinplate department which produce tin   plate in addition  to  that the extraction and refining department..The factory area is ( 48880 ) m2 and now produce:
      ( vegetable ghee, Liquid oils,Soaps and powder detergent).
  
  
• Al-Ma’amoon factory :
     which  is  a   complimentry  for   nationalized  cotton  seed  company   which established  in 1952   and it  is  one of  the  factories of the  general company for vegtebale  oils  industry. It started  to  produce  vegetable  ghee  in 1953   in  a capacity of 15  ton/day  with the marks ( Al- raee -Nafees Narjis).In 1957 the detergent  packaging was added  to it with the mark ( Surf and omo).  In 1961 started  to  produce cosmetics such us tooth  paste with the mark  ( Bisso dent and signa l) .. shaving cream with the mark(Irasmeek).
   In 1973  aluminum  department was operated to  manufacture  the tubes in the factory area ( 17000 ) M 2 and the factory produce:
  • Vegetable ghee and liquid oils.
  • Detergents.
  • Soaps.
  • Cosmetics.
  • Other materials.
